Rhyme

Definition: A Correspondence of sound between the ending of words.

Example:                Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
                              Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
                              All the king's horses and all the king's men
                              Couldn't put Humpty together again.

Significance: Rhyme gives the reader a flow in the poem. It also provides rhythm in the poem. Also, it entertains the reader.
